Allie & Charlie’s Spring Wedding at Elmore Court
Allie and Charlie’s spring wedding was everything that an April wedding does best. Abundant blossom, soft light and a day that was equal parts elegant and fun from start to finish.
Morning in the Main House
This was a two‑day wedding for me, so the evening before, Allie, Charlie with a smaller group of their guests enjoyed a sunshine‑soaked BBQ, followed by games in the Gilly Flower. But I actually met them long before this. Back in April 2025 we had a shoot, just the four of us (did I not mention they have a very handsome Weimaraner called Trevor?)
Allie, Charlie and Trevor were on a little mini‑break, staying in one of the Treehouses on the Elmore Estate. We spent the afternoon chatting and taking photos, we all love books (well, not Trevor, he loves walks) we hung about talking about our favourite reads and then, when the photo’s were done nipped across the road for ice-cream at Wholly Gelato.
The big day finally arrived. The Americans had flown in, the sun was out, and Elmore Court was a hive of springtime activity. In the Smoking Room, Allie was getting ready with her family and friends a warm, lively morning full of that pre‑ceremony excitement.
In true American style, Allie and Charlie chose to share a first look before heading to the church, a quiet moment just for them before the celebrations unfolded across the estate.
Ding Dong the Bells are going to Chime.
The church looked beautiful dressed in soft spring flowers. Delicate pastels, fresh greenery and that light, airy April feeling. Allie and Charlie’s ceremony was heartfelt and elegant, a service that felt both intimate and full of meaning. They stepped outside the church doors to a wave of cheers and confetti, guests lining the path with huge smiles. It was one of those joyful, sun‑lit moments that defines a Cotswold spring wedding at Elmore Court, full of movement, colour and a happy kind of chaos.
Groups Shots with Personality
After the ceremony we kept things simple with a handful of relaxed group shots outside the church, nothing stiff or over‑posed, just natural moments with family and friends in the lovely spring light. Once everyone arrived back at Elmore Court, drinks were served and that warm, familiar babble of laughter and love spilled across the lawns. Allie and Charlie had the brilliant idea of a Dancefloor Dash after dinner: fun, fast‑paced group photos of each table taken right on the dancefloor. It was the perfect mix of energy, giggles and madness, and such a great way to capture every guest without pulling people away from the celebrations. For a spring wedding at Elmore Court, it added a burst of personality and kept the whole day feeling effortless, joyful and completely true to them.
Good Spring Vibes
For Allie and Charlie’s spring wedding at Elmore Court, the thing that stood out from the start was how naturally the day unfolded. They’re an easy, genuine couple, and that kind of energy shapes everything, the pace, the atmosphere, the way people relax into the day. That’s exactly why I care so much about how a wedding feels. It’s never about recreating someone else’s idea of perfection or following a copy‑and‑paste formula. Honestly, that will date fast. Your photo’s should be a joyful surprise, not evidence that you spent hours with me. It’s about shooting the real moments that happen when people are comfortable and fully themselves.
That’s how I work. Most of the time I’m not even noticed, in the best way. I blend in, move quietly, and let the day breathe. But when something needs direction, I’m calm, clear and completely in control. Years of experience mean I don’t flap. And when someone needs a boost, I’m the hype woman who gets them back into the moment.
Allie and Charlie created a day that felt relaxed, joyful and true to them, and Elmore Court in spring is the perfect backdrop for that kind of energy. It’s a place where people soften, slow down and actually enjoy the day, which is exactly where the best photographs live.
The Dream Team
A day this effortless always comes down to the people behind it. We had such a brilliant team working together – calm, talented, and completely in tune with the relaxed, joyful feel of the day.
- HC Brides – Makeup Artist
- One Splendid Day – Florals
- Cherish Cakes by Catherine
- Elissa Ness – Bridal Dress
- Tom Harrington Films – Videography
- Dough Wood Fired Pizza
- Nero String Quartet
Every single one of them helped shape a day that felt relaxed, beautifully considered and full of genuine moments. This is the kind of spring wedding at Elmore Court that reminds you why this place is so special.
Eve!!!!
HOLY. CRAP. THESE. PHOTOS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Charlie and I genuinely do not have words to express how obsessed we are. We have spent the last however-many-hours scrolling through them, sending them to people, re-looking at them, spotting new favourites, and just completely reliving the entire wedding all over again.
You somehow managed to capture every single moment -big and small -in the most beautiful, candid and joy-filled way. Looking through these photos genuinely feels like getting to experience the whole wedding again through your eyes, and seeing moments we missed on the day is the fricken coolest thing ever 🤍🤍🤍
You captured absolutely everything. The huge moments, the tiny moments, the chaos, the emotion, the laughter, all of our favourite people and especially the little ones (!!) over both days. We absolutely love getting to see the day through our guests’ eyes too – and all the tiny details and interactions we never would’ve remembered otherwise but now absolutely will because of your photos.
You truly went above and beyond and your ability to capture genuine joy is honestly unreal. Every photo just feels SO us 🤍🤍
And getting these while we’re on honeymoon?! Truly the coolest experience ever 🥹
Charlie and I honestly don’t have words to explain how much we love them – thank you, thank you, THANK YOU.
All our love,
The Hattons 🤍🤍
