Best London Wedding Photographer
I’m not saying I’m the best London wedding photographer, but my clients do! Hard to believe we’re at the end of another incredible year in London wedding photography. 2024 has been nothing short of amazing. I’ve just wrapped up my penultimate wedding in a very wet and soggy Marylebone, and despite the downpour, it was absolutely fantastic.
Looking Back on an Unforgettable Year
As a London wedding photographer, reflecting on the year is an essential process. It’s not about dwelling on challenges but appreciating the journey, learning from experiences, and being grateful for every incredible moment. For any creative or self-employed individual, reflection helps put everything into perspective.
2024 has been a big one, full of challenges, triumphs, and unforgettable weddings across London and beyond.
Shooting Weddings in London
There’s nothing quite like shooting weddings in London. The city has an energy like no other, and every wedding feels unique. Whether it’s a stylish elopement in Mayfair, a grand celebration in one of London’s iconic venues, or a laid-back East London gathering, the variety is endless. London’s architecture, historic landmarks, and vibrant streets provide the perfect backdrop for storytelling through photography.
The fast-paced nature of the city makes every wedding an adventure—navigating through busy streets, capturing golden hour portraits by the Thames, or sneaking a couple away for quiet moments in a hidden garden. Rain or shine, London always delivers something special.
The Best of Both Worlds
Being a wedding photographer in London while now living in the Cotswolds gives me the best of both worlds. Each wedding tells its own story, and I’ve loved every moment of capturing the laughter, emotion, and raw beauty of these incredible celebrations. From timeless portraits to natural documentary-style moments on the city streets and high-energy party shots, these images represent the heart of what I do.
Big City Life
Born and raised in West London, I always love getting back to the city. Jumping on the Tube, wandering the streets, and soaking in the energy of my hometown—camera in hand, always! When I’m not shooting weddings, I indulge in a bit of street photography, capturing those fleeting moments that make London so special.
This year, I’ve had the honour of working with some truly wonderful couples, and I’m endlessly grateful for the trust they place in me. I was also lucky enough to shoot in Manhattan, NYC, another city that fuels my creativity. Seeing familiar faces in their own hometown was something special.
Old Tricks & Familiar Places
Returning to Kew Gardens for a London wedding was a definite highlight. I always love shooting weddings at Kew and spending time in Richmond. My first-ever job was in Richmond Upon Thames, working at The Gap while studying photography A-levels at Kingston College. Photography has been my passion for as long as I can remember, and it’s incredible to see where it has taken me.
Celebrating 2024 & Looking Ahead
A huge thank you to the wonderful people who have crossed my path in 2024. Your trust, energy, and incredible wedding vibes, both in London and the countryside, mean the world to me. If you’re planning a London wedding and want to chat, I’d love to hear from you.
I may not call myself the best London wedding photographer, but my clients say it for me!
