It’s been a softer year for me as a Cotswold wedding photographer partly thanks to a spectacular technical admin mishap that left me under‑booked for the first time… ever. Add in the shifts happening across the wedding industry the growing divide in styles, the way blogs and venues now push one “on‑trend” aesthetic and it’s been an unusual season. But that’s the reality of self‑employment, and I know many fellow photographers have felt the same.

Through it all, I’ve stayed true to what I believe wedding photography should be. I’ve continued telling honest, beautiful stories for couples who value authenticity. I genuinely believe that with the right photographer, you can have it all: stunning, quality images, maximum time enjoying your day, and photographs that you can feel as a real memory, not a staged production.

I’ve never been one to chase every trend (I’ve watched them come and go in the Cotswolds and beyond). Instead, I stay intuitive. I let your personalities,  and your story lead the way. No copying, no pasting. Every wedding is unique, whether it’s at Stone Barn, Elmore Court, a tucked‑away Cotswold pub, or chic london hotel.

This year, I also stepped into several second‑shooting roles for other photographers, some with styles completely different from mine and it was genuinely illuminating. It reminded me how many approaches exist within wedding photography, and how important it is for couples to find someone whose vision really aligns with theirs. It also reaffirmed that my own approach is exactly where it should be.

Outside of weddings, I kept myself entertained… including a brief and chaotic fling with TikTok. I even went a little bit viral with a video that had absolutely nothing to do with weddings. Turns out people fascinated by swimming monkeys aren’t usually looking for a Cotswold wedding photographer. If you’re the exception, please get in touch.

A massive highlight was being asked, slightly last‑minute, to speak for my friends at FedWed, a support network for photographers and videographers. I felt wildly unprepared, but everyone was really kind as I shared the beliefs I hold close: what makes us different is what makes us brilliant. As experienced photographers, we instinctively understand what truly matters on a wedding day, your wishes, your needs, and the moments that will hold meaning long after the confetti has settled.

The simplest way I can describe my philosophy is this: it’s a wedding, not a photoshoot. A real, lived event not a staged production.

I’ve had some incredible experiences and met some truly wonderful people. And thankfully, 2026 is already shaping up to be much busier, with weddings across the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, and even the mountains of Scotland.

So here are some of my favourite images from 2025, including a few from the weddings I second‑shot along the way.

If you booked me this year – thank you. I truly have the best clients, and your trust in allowing me to document your day is something I never take for granted. And if I worked alongside you as a photographer, videographer, or wedding supplier, thank you, it was a pleasure.

Next year brings plenty of adventures, from beloved Cotswold venues like Stone Barn and Elmore Court to new landscapes further afield.

So from me to you, with all the love in the world… Happy New Year

“OMG Eve, they’re bloody gorgeous”  “They have blown us away”   “We think you are fantastic”   “We knew they would be good, but they have completely exceeded our expectations”   “The photos are more magical than we could have ever ever wished for”  “Eve!!!!! Omg these are outstanding”
