A Cirencester wedding photographer
2018 oh 2018 you have been a goody. A abundance of Cotswolds sunsets, each different in their own way, each natures way to end a fabulous wedding. The moments, so many good moments from dance floor delights to tears of joy and of course kids being kids.
I have also been blessed with an lots of lovely tear jerking feedback which is beyond awesome! Wedding photography is more a vocation than a job, one that consumes you physically, emotionally and creatively. Bond’s are created. I meet the most fantastic people, diverse and interesting and all I want from them is to be themselves. To enjoy the fruits of their labour and to treasure the golden moments of their wedding day in a world that is indisputably in disarray. Because we all deserve that, if its possible, moments to create happy memories surrounded by our kin, in whatever setting and whatever way, being able to celebrate love is one of humanities crowing glories.
So 2018, first off I have worked with some brilliant people. Massive thanks to the second shooters, Aymie Elkins Green, Chris Andrews and Jon Mold. All the Venues, make-up artists, hair dressers, stylists, caterers, cake companies, magicians, Dj’s, Bands, fireworks companies, pizza makers, glitter artists, videographers, Wedding coordinators and everyone else, it’s been brilliant. The best professional community to be a part of. I have also had some great experiences, witnessed some jaw dropping firework displays, held a baby Raccoon and a Meerkat (such a highlight), eaten some fabulous cake, including a slice made by the Queens own head patisserie that was brought over from the Palace to a London venue. Listened to some incredible bands and witnessed some incredible light-shows. Had my first experience shooting in a Cathedral. To be honest there have been so many highlights it’s impossible to list them all.
In November I took the official human poppy picture in my home town of Cirencester from top of Gloucestershire highest church. The event was a world record breaker!!
To my COMPLETELY AMAZING 2018 clients, wow what can I say. You have all been mind blowing, out in the wind, rain, snow or blistering heat without a word of complaint to help me capture your story in the best way.
I LOVE MY JOB !
Its with regret (sort of) that I have to say that I am fully booked for 2019! But am booking now for 2020-2021.
Wishing my 2018 coupes a life time of happiness.
